The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries SRD to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to enable the servicing of all buyers and increase access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
